Standard bearings and accessories

We make the range of different brands clear for you and help you choose the right quality. Not every application needs premium quality, and in others you should not install anything else. It is always important to know what quality you are actually buying and what you can expect from it.

You often pay a high price later for the cheapest bearings!

Which makes does THB supply

Every manufacturer has its strengths and weaknesses, manufactures many things themselves and has others done externally. Even the largest manufacturers do not produce everything themselves, but buy from each other and from smaller third parties. With simple adjustments in purchasing, costs can be optimised without risking quality.

We always focus on the strengths of the manufacturers and do not want to be bound by contracts to individual brands and have to sell their weaknesses. That is why we act as an independent dealer, have agreements with individual manufacturers and cooperate with large authorised brand dealers. This enables us to offer you practically every brand at competitive prices.

What characterises a premium manufacturer

Premium manufacturers have 100% control over the process from the development of the bearing to the final packaging. The development and manufacture of a bearing is complex and consists of many details and experiences that have been incorporated into the finished product over decades. This, combined with high quality standards, characterises a premium manufacturer.

For us, this group includes SKF / FAG / INA / NSK / NTN / JTECT – KOYO / NACHI / EZO / NMB and some other smaller manufacturers. They manufacture individual products / product groups, also for other premium manufacturers.

Reverse engineering, the copying of existing solutions and only partially existing development and manufacturing processes represent a high risk for product quality and therefore for your application.

Other manufacturers and qualities

There are basically only two reasons not to opt for premium manufacturers: the high price and the lack of flexibility in the premium segment.

  • High process reliability, which leads to constant, good quality in a rolling bearing, usually stands in contrast to high flexibility, the ability to do things quickly. Every new product or even just one variant requires extensive adjustments, which are time-consuming and therefore expensive. The result is inflexibility. This forms the basis of business for smaller providers.
  • The sales price of a rolling bearing is essentially determined by the costs for development, production, service, sales and administration plus the manufacturer’s margin. You can optimise and save everywhere, but the purchase price alone should never be the decisive argument. What good is it to save 30 % in purchasing and replace the bearing twice as often?

We have known most manufacturers and subcontractors for many years. We know their strengths and weaknesses and what references they actually have. Used in a targeted manner, this can save you a lot of money without compromising the operational safety of your machines and systems.
